Until a few years ago I played in the premier league of German wheelchair basketball every weekend. But since my shoulder joints started to cause difficulties, I decided that it was time for a change. Loving to pain, I tried to focus on the art of oil painting. Here you can find out more about my work.

 

• 1966 born in Thale ( Harz ), Germany

• since 1976 paraplegic after traffic accident

• 1983-1986 Training for Medical Assistant in Bad Berka

• since 1987 married, 2 children ( born in 1988 and 2000 )

• 1992-2007 member of  the wheelchair basketball national team and basketball premier league

• since 2007 I draw paintings in my studio

• since 2015 I paint with children at school
